Emily now returns with her second EP of the year, Soft Stuff. The six-song collection will be self-released on December 11. Lead track "Loser" shares a narrative we've all most likely been through when facing heartbreak; being unable to move on from something that once meant everything. Yacina's harmonious voice, whimsical style of production, and mesmeric guitar tones end with a chilling, but always effortless result that leaves you stuck in an emotive state. The entirety of Soft Stuff was written over the span of 2015 and is inspired by different relationships and the spaces that are created within them.
Emily resides in Brooklyn, and will continue to play locally with some additional touring throughout 2016.
